Amaranth (Gimboa)

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches of amaranth
  • 1 onions of chopped onion
  • 3 Tomatoes peeled & chopped
  • 2 Tbsps. Oil
  • 1 MAGGI Galinha

Preparation

  1. Wash the amaranth, remove from stalks and chop.
  2. Cut and fry the onion and the tomatoes in olive oil for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the amaranth and MAGGI Galinha. Stir well and cook for about 15-20 minutes. No water is required, as the amaranth will be cooked with the steam.
  4. Taste & adjust the seasoning.
  5. Serve with Funge.
