Syrup

Ingredients:

  1. 6 Cups of sugar
  2. 4 Cups of water
  3. 3 tsp red colouring
  4. 2 tsp yellow colouring
  5. ½ cup rose water

Method:

  1. Boil sugar and water for 10 minutes. 
  2. Remove from heat. 
  3. Stir in colouring and rose water. 
  4. Use warm.

Tip:

Do not let dough stand too long before frying, as it tends to dry out.
