March 2013 started on a high note for Congolese women. MAGGI had plenty of activities for our women consumers and business partners, affectionately called “Mammies”.
MAGGI has built a strong trust with ‘Mammies’ by continuously keeping its promise through its loyalty program. From March 1 - 9 the MAGGI team conducted diverse and multi-location activities; celebrating women around one focus, MAGGI.
Two women wholesalers were awarded a 5-day trip to Johannesburg, South Africa while three of them enjoyed their shopping hamper for their excellent contribution towards MAGGI’s high sales performance in 2012.
MAGGI delighted its partners with a Women’s Day celebration party from March 7 – 9, 2013. The brand activation was conducted in different counties; Kinshasa, Lubumbashi, Kisangani, Goma, Bukavu, Butembo and Pointe Noire. A total of 7 locations and 10 markets were covered, with 420 Mammies in attendance during the 2-day activation program.
In both activities, outside home and at home, one could notice how much women were delighted and pleased to participate in the MAGGI-powered activities. In the Congolese community, women play a key role in creating good home ambiance and in helping develop the nation. This is illustrated in the saying “Moi et MAGGI, le Secrêt du Bonheur” (Maggi and I, the secret to happiness)
