Wellness has become a message being preached, published and talked about by Zimbabweans,
thanks to Nestlé Zimbabwe.This year’s Valentine’s Day was celebrated in a unique way as Nestlé
Zimbabwe launched a Wellness campaign on the 14th of February 2015 at Bon Marche in Avondale, Harare.
Instead of roses, chocolates and other precious things that are given as gifts on Valentine’s Day, Nestlé
Zimbabwe chose to award its consumers with "WELLNESS" as a special gift on that day.
The turnout for the first campaign was remarkable as over 80 people attended. The campaign is an opportunity for
Nestlé as the leading Nutrition, Health & Wellness Companyto raise nutrition awareness amongst Zimbabwean families
by helping them make informed choices and maintaining a balanced lifestyle.Consumers present at the campaign showed
great delight as shown by their positive posts on social media during and after the campaign
Zumba Sessions (a dance fitness program),health checks,Nutrition Education and wet sampling of
Zimbabwe’s number one cereal "Nestlé CREVITA" was conducted during the campaign and will continue
in various shopping centres in the 5 major cities, culminating into a consumer promotion and a
traders’ promotion to drive sales.
