40 Nestlé beverage vending machines in Total outlets by end of the year

Total Kenya Limited has partnered with Nestlé Kenya Limited to enhance consumers’ out of home experience, with the launch of Nescafé Alegria vending solution. The partnership will see 40 Nescafé Alegria vending machines placed in Total Bonjour and shops across the country by the end of the year. The machines will be able to vend Cappuccino, Moccaccino, Hot Chocolate, Tea, White Coffee, Black Coffee, and Espresso which will be available at Total bonjour shops.

 Speaking at a joint launch of the partnership, Alexis Vovk, the Managing Director of Total Kenya Limited said, “Total is happy to be associated with strong brand as Nestlé, which will give consumers confidence and improve foot print into our outlets. It will also give our customers the consistence of service across all our outlets in the country.”

CEO and Regional Head of Nestlé Equatorial African Region Ian Donald said that consumers will have increased convenience in accessing Nestlé products, while increasing their out of home experience. “This partnership works for both companies. The unique design of Nescafé Alegria brings efficiency, as it does not need may staff members to operate it. It is our hope that consumers will find the convenience they always desire in accessing Nestlé beverages at reasonable cost,” said Ian.

At the launch, which was held at Total Bonjour shop, Hurlingam consumers were treated to a day long sampling of the Nestlé beverage products.  There was also a lucky dip for customers who spent 500 shillings, or more and the prizes included branded key rings, Nescafé branded mugs and free car wash at the this Total outlet.

The Nescafé Alegria has been already been placed in 21 outlets in Nairobi, Mount Kenya and Mombasa, with the roll out in Rift Valley, Western and Kisumu  being implemented in the coming months.
