Nestlé Zimbabwe hosts its first CSV Forum today, Wednesday, May 14 in Harare, Zimbabwe. This important forum presents an opportunity for Nestlé Zimbabwe to bring together interested parties to discuss and debate on key issues relating to CSV within Zimbabwe.
The one-day forum will bring together panelists from Zimbabwe's key business executives, policy-makers, academics, government representatives, service providers, community organisations, research and development organisations, stakeholders and politicians.
The forum is divided into five different sessions or panels:
- Opening Panel: CSV - Beyond Philanthropy and Corporate Social Responsibility
- Nutrition Panel: Household Food Security and Nutrition
- Water Panel: Shared Water, Shared Responsibility
- Rural Development Panel: Sustainable Partnership in Rural Development
- Final Panel: What is next for Business and Society?
The panels will enable the forum to be very engaging and interactive. Head of Nestlé Nutrition for Sub-Saharan Africa, Pindelwa Mda will share her experiences during the Nutrition Panel discussion, Nestlé's Public Affairs Manager from Vevey, Switzerland, John Bee will bring his expertise during the Water Panel while Head of EAR, Ian Donald will be amongst the panelists to discuss and address questions around Rural Development. Nestlé South Cluster Manager, Kumbirayi Katsande will be in the final panel to give insights on the impact of CSV within business and society. The closing remarks will be shared by Ian Donald to bring together the day's deliberations and next steps.
The CSV Forum is set to be a beneficial forum that can identify and expand the connections between societal and economic progress.
